The Landings

Thank you to all that participated in the 2019-2020 United Way Campaign. Your generosity last year assisted in providing many programs and support to more than 90 local agencies.

COVID-19 Pandemic has presented a historic challenge to our community. The need is at its greatest level ever and it is likely to continue for some months to come. People who have never needed assistance are now visiting mobile food distributions so they can feed their families and the stress of the pandemic has created a spike in mental health needs for all ages.

Over the past six months United Way has mobilized resources, convened partners, and created immediate impact. United Way 211 has realized a 70% increase in incoming calls. And our United Way network of partner agencies are seeing record numbers.  In addition, some companies, who normally donate, are not due to economic reasons.

Another season is upon us as well as opportunities to help those less fortunate in our community. We hope you will join us by participating in the 2020-2021 United Way Campaign, theme for 2020-2021 is Rise to the Challenge.

Your support is needed now more than ever before. This year’s United Way campaign is not only the most important campaign we have ever had, it will also be the most impactful campaign. Thank you for your generosity and continuing to make our community strong.
