Local Comcast employees and family members as well as employees from LARC, Inc. and community volunteers were in full force this past Saturday for the annual corporate Comcast Cares Day event. This year they selected LARC, Inc., one of our United Way partner agencies in which to lend a hand. The Sanibel Captiva Community had another record-setting United Way Campaign! Residents exceeded the goal and raised $479,783 which is 9% over the amount raised last year. Campaign Chair, Tony Lapi, hosted a celebration Hog Roast at Tween Waters Island Resort & Spa for all of the Leadership donors on the islands. Thank You Sanibel Captiva residents for another successful year! And a special thanks to the committee members: Allison & Chauncey Goss, Bill Fellows, Calli Johnson, Gaye & Jim Pigott, Robbie & Geoff Roepstorff, Lucy & Paul Roth, Linda & Tom Uhler, Penny Wilkinson, and Judie Zimomra.The Sanibel Captiva Community had another record-setting United Way Campaign!
